The protein packed green smoothie

Protein smoothies are the perfect drink accompaniment for before or after a workout.  Maintaining protein levels help support muscle mass. You can also add some leafy greens to your protein smoothie; our favorite is spinach, as the blends smoothly and tastes subtle.

Ingredients:

●1 x banana

●1.5 x cups of milk of choice

●1 x scoop of protein powder

●1 x teaspoon of peanut butter

●1 x cup spinach (or other green leaves)

●Ice-cubes

●1 x pitted majool date (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

Wash and prep all ingredients

The energising green juice

If you’re feeling sluggish, this green juice can be the perfect pick me up, especially in the morning.  The recipe is the perfect combination of sweet and sour. 

Ingredients

●1 x cup romaine lettuce

●1 x cup spinach

●½ x celery stalk

½ x unwaxed lemon

●1 x pear

●½ x cucumber

●1-inch piece of peeled ginger

The perfect breakfast green smoothie

This is one of our go-to breakfast smoothies, creamy, sweet and packed with filling ingredients. If you're looking for a healthier way to start your day, then this is a great place to start. 

Ingredients:

●    1 x banana

●    1 x cup of spinach

●    1 x cup of milk

●    1 x tablespoon of chia seeds

●    1 x majool date

●    3 x tablespoons of oats
